Your membership with NHRPA provides a number of benefits including: 

Professional Development:

Members have the opportunity to attend valuable CEU education sessions and network at scheduled social events throughout the year. Calendar of events can be found on the NHRPA website. Members also have the opportunity to participate in the FISH Program. The goal of FISH is to increase membership participation in all aspects of NHRPA. Members have the chance to be rewarded for their efforts, contributions and personal career growth in the field of Parks and Recreation.

Newsletter and Rec Connect Email Updates:

Electronic NHRPA Newsletters will be e-mailed to the membership in January, May and October and are then available on the website. The newsletter provides updates on member accomplishments, legislative issues vendor advertisements and special events. As a member you also have the opportunity to publish articles in the newsletter and highlighting accomplishments of your city, town or department. In the Rec Connect Email Update the Executive Director will provide information on what’s happening locally, regionally and nationally with regards to Parks & Recreation.

Discussion Forums and Access to the Resource Center:

View and share documents from agencies in NH and all over the country while staying up-to-date on best practices and trends in the field in the NHRPA Resource Center. Ask questions of members and receive valuable advice and information in the discussion forum. Posts in the forum will link to member emails alerting you when someone has posted a question or started a discussion.

NHRPA Website Member Login:

Your membership allows you to login to the NHRPA website to access the Resource Center, Discussion Forums and Membership Directory.

Awards and Honors:

Each fall NHRPA will honor those individuals, organizations and departments who have provided outstanding service and/or programs to their community, their organization or the profession. 

Access to NHRPA Executive Director:

The Executive Director is happy to assist you and respond to your questions. NHRPA strives to be a trusted resource advocating, communicating and educating our entire membership. NHRPA can help you connect with other agencies, vendors, commercial members, organizations and individuals who have the experience, skills, materials or services you need to make your job easier.
