Granite State Track & Field Sponsorship Information:
The mission of Granite State Track & Field is to provide a quality recreation program where children have fun and are introduced to physical fitness through basic track and field events such as running, jumping and throwing. Above is a picture from a previous Granite State Track & Field (GSTF) state meet – look at those smiling faces from kids having fun competing in this amazing program! Local meets will be held through Parks and Recreation agencies as well as other youth serving organizations all over the state of New Hampshire. Then on Saturday June 14th those athletes will advance to The Granite State Track and Field State Championship Meet at Winnisquam High School in Tilton, NH. Athletes ages 9-14 will give their all, cheered on by the support of their family and friends in pursuit of excellence in running, jumping and throwing events. State finalists will receive the ever-popular and much coveted State Finalist T-shirts as well as quality ribbons.
Our sponsors are all proudly displayed on the back of State Finalist and State Champion shirts. Sponsors are recognized in programs, throughout the day by the meet announcer and posted at the state meet. Gold and Platinum level sponsors will also receive a one year commercial membership to the New Hampshire Recreation and Parks Association! Just a bit about this incredible program:
- This Track and Field Program has existed in NH – either as Hershey or Granite State - for 44 years
- The Track and Field Program is a program of the New Hampshire Recreation and Park Association
- Granite State Track and Field is self-supported. We therefore rely heavily on sponsor’s donations.
- Annually over 1,000 NH children ages 9-14 – from all over NH - participated at the local level with over many of those athletes moving on to the state competition.
- A fair estimate is that in the 45 years of the Track and Field Program we have been able to provide over 40,000 children a chance to participate in a statewide program that values, fun, fitness, friendships and recognizes effort as well as achievement. Our awesome volunteers make the day special for every athlete.
How can you help? Please consider becoming a sponsor of this state-wide program!
What does sponsorship help with? Your sponsorship will provide ribbons for the top 8 finishers in each event at the State Final meet, cotton t-shirts for the top 8 state finalists in each event, and tech-wicking shirts for each event’s State Champion. Other costs to run the program include official timing for the state meet, supplies, equipment, venue rentals, volunteer recognition and associated costs. Modest participant fees help defray costs as does in-kind donations, but sponsor commitment is a key component and allows us to offer the best experience possible and to continue the program from year to year.
