About NHRPA
For more than 75 years, the New Hampshire Recreation and Park Association has promoted and advocated the development and administration of recreation and park services, without discrimination, by means of educational seminars, meetings, conferences, and worked to improve recreation and park activities in New Hampshire.
NHRPA Objectives:
- To unite in one organization, all those employed in or identified with the recreation and park field in New Hampshire
- To encourage cooperation between public and private agencies in the recreation and park field
- To disseminate information relating to the recreation and park field
- To develop and promote principles and standards for the improvement of professional service to the recreation and park field
- To encourage public awareness, appreciation and support for recreation and parks.
The New Hampshire Recreation and Park Association is a non-profit professional organization affiliated with the National Recreation and Parks Association, the New Hampshire Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NHAHPERD), the New Hampshire Municipal Association and the NH Division of Parks and Recreation.
