NHRPA Professional Development Workshop - NH Beaches & Pools

This workshop will focus on NH Pools and Beaches.

Speakers:

• Tim Wilson, Public Pool and Spa Program
• David Neils, Chief Aquatic Biologist ; Amanda McQuaid, Public Beach Program Coordinator

Pool topics include but are not limited to: proper testing and documentation, dealing with fecal accidents, legislative updates and hot topics related to pools. 

Beach topics include bur are not limited to: history of the DES beach program, where information can be found about the current status of beaches, the approach DES uses in monitoring public beaches. And cyanobacteria, the risks they pose to swimmers, and how to identify and report a bloom.
