Join us on Thursday, April 11th at HealthTrust, 25 Triangle Park Drive, Concord NH for a day of learning! Registration fee is $35 and includes lunch. Here is a look at the schedule:
· Summer Camp Licensing —Did you know that municipalities in NH are exempt from summer camp licensing? That is something all camps should know. You should also know that if something goes wrong at your camp, State Camp Licensing rules may be used as the “standard” during legal proceedings. With that thought in mind we will focus on what the rules are and how you can apply them safely at your summer program.
· Learn from Experience— A panel of seasoned professionals share what makes their programs successful. Topics will include staff recruitment, orientation and training, CIT programs, behavior management, addressing staff burnout and staff recognition programs.
· NHRPA Awards Luncheon– Time to enjoy lunch and celebrate our peers and community members who are honored as award winners this year.
· NH Youth Employment Laws—we will wrap up the day with NH Department of Labor providing a refresher course on NH Youth Employment Laws from the NH Dept of Labor.
